How it works
Menus across Western New York do not share a common catalog. The same eighth can appear under three titles, two weights, and two tax styles. The engine turns that into one comparable product.
Step 1
Ingest live menus
We pull current dispensary menus on a recurring cadence and store every sellable variant with its price, sale price, tax flag, and product link.
Step 2
Normalize the mess
Weights, brands, and forms are standardized against a Western NY brand registry. Display titles are composed server-side so shoppers never see raw source names as the identity.
Step 3
Match identical products
A master catalog product (one identity) collects every store offer for that item. Matching never happens in the browser and never invents joins.
Step 4
Compare on out-the-door
Some menus include tax; others add it at checkout. We compare on OTD so a $25 menu price is not silently cheaper than a $28 tax-in price.
